Right now Alina is in Florida competing in ‘Most Photogenic’ at the International Junior Miss. Not only is she just beyond beautiful, her personality is positively radiant and I just loved being around her. She also performed her commercial for me- it was for tea- and I swear if I had just met her I would have thought she really was from England. She performed beautifully and I wish her all the luck during the pageant!

For me.

On Mother’s Day, my children cooperated and let me take their photo. When I say cooperated, I mean with one another. No name calling or poking or tickling. They simply got together and loved each other without bribery.

I hate neglecting my blog and have a lot of peeks to get up so please bear with me. I always try to get at least 1 up on facebook to help ease the wait :) I’m hoping to be caught up in the next couple of days.

Be back soon!

There isn’t much I can tell you that these photos dont already say. Camryn is beautiful, sweet, a great sleeper, curly, and simply perfect. It was my pleasure to capture her and I hope to see her again. Congratulations to T & D and their perfect little girl.

I think I underestimated how wonderful the experience of photographing twins would be. I love newborn sessions. All the perfect little babies I get to meet and hold and completely fall for. Its just so wonderful to capture them for their parents. I wouldn’t say its a better experience, just different :) When we started to set up and John brought Kaydence and Kaylen over to me, I got them nice and snug then went to get my camera. Then I hear John trying to get my attention. He was pointing at the girls with this huge smile telling me to hurry up and get a picture. I looked down and saw that they were holding hands. I swear my heart couldn’t have smiled any bigger.

Honestly I was too busy admiring them to catch the clasped hands but I knew I would have more opportunities when the session started, and I did :) As we started to put them to sleep, they startled and grabbed for each other. It truly was the sweetest thing I have ever seen. But I decided to let mom and dad be the first to see that photo and will add it to my website after they do.  They preferred to hold hands and each other, and I believe the bond of twins really begins in the womb. I honestly couldn’t believe how big she has gotten. Seems I like I first saw her only a few weeks ago. Its crazy how fast babies grow. She is just as sweet as ever and smiling like crazy. We met at a quaint local market (that I can’t for the life of me remember the name of) for the session. Hadley had a blast shopping and picking apples in their play store. It was an awesome day and probably the last really hot day of the year. Yesterday was the the coldest so far :p

I got a message from mom tonight telling me that little Kate was sick :( I hope you feel better soon sweetie.
