I hate leaving the blog quiet for too long. The kids got sick, then J, I had a wisdom tooth pulled, then I got sick. And an ear infection always follows a cold with me. My sinus issues began when I lived in Colorado. I was told by an ear, nose, and throat specialist that I was allergic to the state since all the allergy tests he performed turned up nothing. I also learned that I have a slat in my right nostril which explains why that side is always blocked when I’m sick. Not even Affrin can clear that side up. Even after living here in NC since 2006, the issues that began in CO remain. Ive learned to live with my ears popping when I swallow on a daily basis. Annoying, but I’m adapting.
And to everyone who sent me well wishes, thank you. Carey even offered to drive from Godwin to bring me soup :) Just another reason I feel so blessed to found my way into thisprofession. It’s the people I meet. Had John never encouraged me, had I never jumped in and took a chance. You all really make this a wonderful journey and I am so thankful for you.
I have so much to share but figure I have about 30 minutes left before I’m forced to lay down again so Ill stick with just one topic tonight-this morning. Kim contacted me and I could tell from her email she was really excited. A mother of 3 boys, she had finally got her girls and wanted a session of just the 3 of them. I don’t know about you but I don’t think she looks like a mother of 2 grown boys! These 3 ladies are beyond fun and had me laughing out loud the entire session. Seeing the 3 of them together I just know that Mary and Lisa are the perfect additions to the family and that Kim is jump-up-and-down thrilled.
