I won’t lie, I ditched my blog to hang out with my kids! and I can’t apologize for that :) If you had happened upon our street last night at midnight, you would have seen all 5 of us [and Mariah's friend Danielle] playing in the much anticipated downpour! We played tag, splashed in the puddles, splashed each other, and I twirled with my arms out while catching a mouthful [and face full] of water. My abs were sore from the non stop laughter and J and I pouted with the kids when the rain turned into a sprinkle. While I’m sure my behavior would guarantee me a lecture from my mother, I have no intention of telling her. Sorry mom :)

So anyway, even though these clients have already seen their galleries, I love sharing their beautiful families with all my readers. My ‘To Blog’ list is is still growing too. I have 5 more families to share and that number will be growing this weekend! And I promised family new photos of the brood too! Jason lost 3 teeth in less than a month and looks so different. Its as if he sprouted up overnight which I’m sure is typical of boys since I don’t remember such a drastic change with the girls.
without further delay…

When I think of Jody, the word fabulous comes to mind.  The way she carried herself, her glow, and that jacket! I immediately fell in love with it. Strickland arrived recently and I will be meeting him this coming week. Im looking forward to the session and can’t wait to see the nursery she had described to me. Keeping my fingers crossed there is great lighting in there!

No word yet though. First babies rarely come on time. And won’t I sound so silly if she’s in hospital right now and just hasn’t gotten a message to me yet :p She was ready the day we got together and I’m sure has been walking all over Fayetteville since. I hope she doesn’t have to wait long. I still know the agony of anticipation.

I think Grason is going to come out smiling. When people are happy, it shows. Rachel and Bryan are just that. And when Rachel laughed or giggled, her belly laughed too. It was seriously cute :)
It was so sick trying to pick photos for this peek. And R, I almost showed my favorite photo from the end of the session but decided I had to keep some surprises for the gallery, haha. But knowing you’re probably as impatient as I am, you’ll be glad to know that you won’t have to wait much longer for your gallery. We can’t wait to see you both again and meet your baby man.
If you want to see one more of R&B, here it is.

A rather blustery day.

February 4, 2010

“Happy windsday Rabbit!” as Pooh skids through the line of carrots while flying Piglet like a kite. And yes I am a thirty-something-year-old-woman that still loves Winnie the Pooh as much as I did when I was 6. I also sang the ”Its a rather blustery day today” song in my head too :p

Though windy and wet, it was still a great day. The colors are always richer when its wet out which complimented these lovely ladies well. A huge thank you to Jen for being so patient for her blog. It’s been a hectic week with the kids bringing home the colds. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it passes me by. Maybe my family will start following my example and take their vitamins! Ok, so not likely.
