Riley is 13 days old here and completely perfect. She slept well for me and had such a wonderful grace about her. Its impossible to guess a baby’s personality this early but I sensed such a serene softness about her. From the way she slept to the way she placed her hands and fingers. I could see her as a little girl in the prettiest dresses and having quaint little tea parties in the back yard. I had the same feeling about Sarah when she was little. Very girly and soft but at the same time will chase frogs and doesnt mind getting dirty. I’m not sure how long they will be here in Fayetteville but maybe Holly will send me an update in the upcoming years. I love getting emails and photos!

I truly believe if it wasn’t for my career, I would have more kids. Working with so many beautiful babies and children, I do get my ‘fix,’ but still get that want sometimes. I even tried to imagine, but it’s hard to see another face among the ones I have known for so long. Maybe I cant imagine it because this is exactly the family I’m supposed to have. And in a way that’s kind of a relief because any more and we’d be working 24/7 to afford a custom built house to fit them all. Not that I in any way could come even close to theDuggar’s…wow!
Jaydin is a beautiful Asian/Caucasian mix and looks just like Jen…so far. According to my dad I was born with jet black hair and looked like my mother. That changed in a matter of months and no one would think I was anything other than white unless told differently. I look forward to seeing her again and wonder if she will pull any of dads traits.

Mom is already viewing her gallery but I had to share her adorable babies. I wasn’t prepared for how much Jackson had actually grown and I was completely in love with his baby rolls. As a newborn, he resembled dad completely. But now I see mom’s features working their way in and he has the perfect mix from both. And of course Addy is growing into quite the beautiful young lady. Still happy and just amazing as ever.

The arrival of Nick makes 3 boys for this cozy family and I don’t think Carey minds the fact that shes seriously out numbered. She is perfectly at ease and grinning from ear to ear. She always has a happy disposition and a very beautiful [and contagious] smile! Zach is the same way and just lights up with happiness. I’ve always wondered what having a sibling would be like. I think its fascinating that they can argue one minute and the next be so sweet as if nothing happened. I know that these 3 will be an adventure to each other as well as their parents.
