Little L has arrived and he is just the sweetest little boy. Mom called as soon as she got home from the hospital and to schedule and I was able to capture him in his first few days of life. He slept so well for the shoot and we were able to get him to sleep on dad’s arm :) I hope mom and dad are all adjusting well, your gallery will be ready shortly!
This would be my first urban maternity shoot. When I met V and N, that was the first thing that popped into my mind and I was so happy that they chose to come downtown. V is due in about a week and looks just fabulous, doesnt she?! They are all ready for their daughter to arrive and I LOVE her room. They went with a brown, pink, and white which is one of my favorite combo’s. I can’t wait to meet her :)
They have planned to go all B&W with their photos [no complaints since I am rather partial to it] but I did try a few with what I call ‘the 300 look.’ After seeing the movie, I just fell in love with the tones and of course had to play around until I got something close. I love the process so far…still a work in progress ;)
and I love how the word ‘joy’ is spray painted on the brick wall :) I will see you both soon!
Aren’t they adorable!? H was a little shy and always stayed close to mom but R was ready to go from the start. We wandered around Linear park and my oldest entertained the girls while I worked with mom and dad. The whole shoot went by really quick, R picked me a lucky clover, and H finally opened up enough to let me take some pictures :)
I had a great time with R and her kids. The teens were a little quiet at first but they warmed up a little and I got them yakking in no time. We were all over the Linear Park area and I discovered some new spots to add to my favorites list. I hope they don’t mind that I am a tad behind on their peek :p So much craziness here, I thought the holidays were over!
I was in the middle of proofing their gallery when i came across this image. We were goofing off and hubby gave this big cheesy smile. I’m waiting to take shot [and I did]but hes still holding the ’smile.’ So I ask him, “Are you really going to smile like that?” This was the response…
